In 2006 Miles returned to his spiritual home of West Penwith in Cornwall and rekindled his creative energy for painting and drawing in the landscape. In the following year, his work was exhibited in a ground-breaking show titled ‘Revolver’ at the Penzance Art Gallery, grouping Miles with other young mid-career artists that together represented a new confidence and attitude in the contemporary Cornish art scene.
